Release Notes March 13, 2025
We're excited to announce the latest release of PantrySoft! This update includes some exciting new features, key improvements, and important bug fixes.
Data Visualization
- Quicksight renaming/design and double scroll bar removal:
- Updated to Data Visualization and made the dashboard consistent with our overall app.
- Create an enqueue processor for refreshing the dataset:
- Processor to run nightly to update the datasets used by the data visualizations per organization.
- Update max execution time for MySQL sessions
- This allows for our SQL queries to not timeout.
Privileges
- Privileged
- Visits :
- A new privileged checkbox is available for privileged users to make visits privileged. Non-privileged users cannot see the visit or visit history on the client dashboard or kiosk index.
- Selecting a privileged visit type automatically makes a visit privileged.
- Privileged visits are removed from frequency checks and the last visit query on the client dashboard for non-privileged users.
- Templates :
- A new privileged checkbox for privileged users to make a visit template privileged, so that non-privileged users cannot see the visit template on the client dashboard.
- Selecting a privileged visit type automatically makes a visit privileged.
- Visits made from privileged visit templates are also privileged.
- Picklist Entries :
- Added a new "isPrivileged" flag to picklist entries that can be set by privileged users. Scope is limited to just the Visit Types picklist but could be extended to others in the future. Privileged flag currently only prevents non-privileged users from seeing the picklist entry but will be extended to other entities in future cards.
- Added Privileged Checkbox to new picklist entry rows on Visit Types picklist.
- Visit Types :
- Added guard rails to visit privileging of CSFP and locker visits.
- Visit type selection is enabled on CSFP and locker visits.
- Visit frequency rules with privileged visit types will not appear to non-privileged users.
- Storefront Orders – Schedule Templates with Privileged Visit Types
- Added support for privileged visit types to the portal.
- Visits and appointments made from scheduled templates with privileged visit types will also be privileged.
- These orders can only be rescheduled within the same privileged template.
- Schedule Appointments / Schedule Templates
- Appointments made for privileged visit types will all be considered privileged.
- No checkbox will be added, though the UI will indicate that this is a privileged appointment.
- No history of the appointment will be able to be seen if you are not in a privileged role.
- Visits :
- Non-Role Reporting
- Delivery Route Reports and Kitchen Reports
- Added support for privileged visits and visit types to all kitchen reports, delivery route visit route report, and delivery route visit template report.
- Inventory Reports and Queue Reports
- Unprivileged users will not be able to see privileged visits or visit types on all Inventory reports and Queue Reports.
- Delivery Route Reports and Kitchen Reports
Inventory Group Manifest
- Build New Group Manifest
- Infrastructure within the database to hold pertinent data for group manifests.
- Create a checkbox for when a duplicate group template is created, be able to update visit templates
- When creating a duplicate of a group, if that group is used in visit templates a checkbox will show up with the option to update all templates using the original group to the new duplicated group.
- Hid the visit item entry section on item group edit form distributor, now you will only see the table with the contents.
- Create a way to duplicate group templates
- Users need to be able to create a duplicate of a current Group Template. This allows the users to be able to duplicate the group templates, so that they can edit a new Group Template.
- Lock down Group Item Contents in Group Templates
- Users are not able to edit Group Templates. If they want to change a group, they will have to create a new one.
Other Features
- Implement method of tracking a single item as taking up multiple "choices" for NY HPNAP
- Added client admin setting to allow for using Choice Value for item type limits.
- Updated all item type calculations to use choice value as a multiplier when setting is enabled.
- Updated distributor and storefront UI to display choice value on items.
- Pronoun Box as optional household member field
- Optional field added to the product.
- 'Client Label' setting used to update more instances of 'client' wording on the admin side
- Client label setting in client settings is changed and reflected throughout the product.
CSFP Additions

- Added support for optional user signatures on the discontinue and disqualify events.
- Added support for optional user signatures on the CSFP proxy member form.
- Introducing six new settings:
- "Enable User Signature for CSFP Proxy"
- "Require User Signature for CSFP Proxy"
- "CSFP Proxy User Agreement Text"
- "Enable User Signatures for CSFP Confirm Disqualify/Discontinue Events"
- "Require User Signatures for CSFP Confirm Disqualify/Discontinue Events"
- "CSFP Disqualify/Discontinue User Agreement Text"
- Way some of these settings work
- Enable the new user signature settings.
- An organization with CSFP enabled, open a client with a CSFP record, then open (or create) a proxy member.
- Add a new CSFP proxy link.
- Edit an existing CSFP proxy link.
- Delete a CSFP proxy link.
- Verify the "Require User Signature for CSFP Proxy" setting works as intended.
- Verify the "CSFP Proxy User Agreement Text" content appears as expected.
- The way the discontinue/disqualify signatures can be validated:
- Disqualify and discontinue certified CSFP records on both the client dashboard as well as the CSFP dashboard.
- Verify the custom text content appears as expected.
- Verify requires signature works as expected.
- Introducing six new settings:
- Application complete workflow for the Household Member CSFP Modal updates:
- On Completed and Signed: Upload the CSFP application PDF with signature. Removed Upload Document and Generate PDF For CSFP Application buttons.
- On Completed Offline: Removed Upload Document and Generate PDF For CSFP Application buttons.
- On Completed and Uploaded -- Remove Generate PDF For CSFP Application buttons.
- Added Complete Pending Upload step to Complete and Upload CSFP application process
- Removed the ability to edit Application Complete events
- The method by which the CSFP application was completed now appears in the Household Member CSFP Modal info column.
- Now when CSFP Events are removed, the associated CSFP Document is also removed (bugfix)
- Tooltip update to the export to CSV option on the CSFP Visit Dashboard:
- Added tippy notifications to all CSFP dashboard and CSFP visit dashboard export buttons explaining that the exports will contain on the rows visible on the screen.
- Changed require inventory group setting name and made setting a picklist.:
- With CSFP and CSFP inventory groups and delivery routes, you will be able to see appropriate labels.
