[2025 Releases](https://support.pantrysoft.com/release-notes?hsLang=en#2025-releases) # Release Notes October 30, 2025 ## The following updates have been made to the PantrySoft System to give users more options for data entry and visibility. ### **New Features** #### **Add Demographic Questions to Client Record Header** **Head of household** responses to **Demographic Questions** can now be featured at the top of the client record: ![Edit response from header](https://support.pantrysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Edit%20response%20from%20header.png?width=670&height=161&name=Edit%20response%20from%20header.png) **How to access:** - To feature an existing demographic question: Setup \> Demographic Questions \> select the edit pencil icon to open a specific demographic question \> select “**Feature on Dashboard Header**” checkbox  - To create a new demographic question for featuring: Setup \> Demographic Questions \> select New Question  \> configure your demographic question appropriately \>  select “**Feature on Dashboard Header**” checkbox  ![feature on dashboard check box](https://support.pantrysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/feature%20on%20dashboard%20check%20box.png?width=593&height=556&name=feature%20on%20dashboard%20check%20box.png) **To update a household member’s response to a demographic question, you have two options:** - **From the header:** Select the edit pencil icon on the featured question itself from the client record header. ![Edit response from header](https://support.pantrysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Edit%20response%20from%20header.png?width=670&height=161&name=Edit%20response%20from%20header.png) - **From the household member widget:** Select the edit pencil icon on the head of the household member’s row. ![edit response from household member widget](https://support.pantrysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/edit%20response%20from%20household%20member%20widget.png?width=670&height=161&name=edit%20response%20from%20household%20member%20widget.png) *Both of the options above will open the head of household’s member form:* *![household member form](https://support.pantrysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/household%20member%20form.png?width=670&height=254&name=household%20member%20form.png)* **Notes:** - For visual clarity, it is recommended to only feature a couple of demographic questions at the top of the client record. - Only the head of household’s response to demographic questions will appear at the top of the client record. --- #### **Toggle to Show/Hide Out-of-Stock Inventory** Users can now toggle to show or hide out of stock inventory on the Inventory Management screen to avoid sifting through items that are not currently available in the Source Inventory, providing for a more efficient workflow.  ![hide out of stock zoomed in](https://support.pantrysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/hide%20out%20of%20stock%20zoomed%20in.png?width=670&height=250&name=hide%20out%20of%20stock%20zoomed%20in.png) **How to access:**Inventory \> Inventory Management  **Details:** - To hide inventory items that are out of stock in the Source Inventory, simply toggle to activate the “Hide Out of Stock” filter. This feature is functional for inventory transactions that have a Source Inventory.  - *Those transaction types can include: Transfers, Adjustments, Distributions, Group Management and Trash* - This feature is disabled for a Receives Transaction type, as the Source Inventory level is irrelevant. --- #### **Additional Data Entry options for Proxy Members** Users now have more configuration options for the Proxy Member forms, with the added ability to collect Proxy date of birth and Proxy ID and ID Type in the Org View/Dashboard interface.  **How to access:** - Setup \> General Settings \> ***Date of Birth on Proxy Members Form*** and ***ID and ID Type on Proxy Members Form*** ***![Proxy settings](https://support.pantrysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Proxy%20settings.png?width=670&height=251&name=Proxy%20settings.png)*** **Options:** **![show hide requier](https://support.pantrysoft.com/hs-fs/hubfs/show%20hide%20requier.png?width=670&height=122&name=show%20hide%20requier.png)** - **Hide:** The field does not appear on the form. - **Show:** The field appears on the form, but Users can save the form without completing the fields. - **Require:** The form can not be submitted without these fields being completed. **Notes:** -
