Release Notes September 11th, 2022
This release launches the Advanced Inventory package and completes our ongoing Inventory Overhaul.
Feature - Inventory Groups added as a way to create a bundle of inventory items to expedite and standardize both receives and distributions.
Feature - Inventory Bins added to represent physical storage locations and/or pallets in a warehouse setting. Items in bins are removed from inventory availability until they are checked back in.
Feature - New Inventory Transaction Screen
- Inventory Receives are separated from other transaction types and given their own screen.
- The new transaction screen presents the user many filters and direct edit functionality to help manage inventory all in one place.
- Added ability to print tickets for each transaction type.
Feature - Inventory Management Screen Updates
- Ability to distribute to inventory sources added.
- Added filter for inventory source types.
- Added filter for inventory tags.
Feature - Inventory Item Screen
- Added CSV button to export item data to a spreadsheet.
- Added new filters to support inventory Bins.
Feature - Current Inventory Screen
- Added filters for inventory bins to view contents of a single bin.
- Added additional functionality to highlight items that have reached their reorder threshold.
Feature - Inventory Sources
- Inventory Source Types added to group sources into filterable types.
- Inventory Sources can now be created on the fly both when entering receives and when working from the management screen.
- Added the ability to distribute to a source which will be handy for bulk distributions to subsidiary programs.
Feature - Customer creation added to kiosk registration so credentials can be created efficiently and a password email sent.
Improvement - A new content area has been added to the kiosk/storefront registration form to allow you to enter income guidelines without using the income and expense widget to enter specific information.
Improvement - Various inventory and storefront settings moved and renamed for clarity.
Improvement - Updates to Inventory Fulfillment Report
- Hide fulfilled items is now checked by default.
- Fixed issue totaling the columns on the fulfillment and other inventory reports.
- Fixed issue paginating tickets when printing more than one.
Improvement - Filters for inventory type and inventory tags added to the barcode scanning widget.
Improvement - Client Eligibility uploads reworked with more clear settings for when and where to check.
Improvement - Kiosk Check-in setting added to fully replace the previous KioskClient role functionality.
Bugfixes
- Fixed issue mapping usernames with SSO requests. Improving the reliability of the system and fixing issues some university students were having with returning visits.
- Fixed logging issues with SSO attempts to provide better understanding of errors and better feedback to the user should a problem occur.
- Fixed mobile issues with inventory item setup screens causing field names to overlap.
- Fixed issue with client specific locations on the storefront registration.
- Fixed issue with the client dashboard search hanging on whitespaces. Now it trims any whitespace from the query automatically.
- Fixed mobile issues when using enter to complete a search on the client dashboard.
- Fixed issue with client exclusive inventory tags showing on the visit screen.
- Fixed issue with number formatting currency fields on visit and receive tickets.
- Fixed issue breaking "Show on Kiosk" for inventory items.
- Fixed issue warning user of item limits for household sizes larger than 6 on the visit item distributor.
