Release Notes September 17, 2025
The following updates have been made to the PantrySOFT System to give users more flexibility and control over the Queue Report, Registration requirements and inventory visibility.
New Features:
Updates to the Queue Report
New settings have been added to give users more control over the Queue Report:

Split Name Columns
-
Allows first and last names to appear in separate columns so they can be sorted independently.

How to access: Setup > Visit Settings > General > Split Name Columns on Queue

Anonymize Kiosk Staff

Makes the Queue Report anonymous in the Kiosk Interface.

When enabled, client information is limited to Account Number and Household Makeup.

How to access: Setup > Kiosk Settings > Anonymize Kiosk Staff

Require Document Upload on Registration
Users can now require clients to upload a document during Client Portal registration if the client has not previously uploaded any documents.
How to access:
Setup > Registration Settings > Kiosk and Storefront Registration > Setting is called Require Document Upload on Registration When Client Has No Previously Uploaded Documents
Options:
-
Enforce: If the client has no previously uploaded documents, kiosk and portal registrations cannot be submitted until a document is uploaded.

Warn: Clients can submit the registration without uploading a document, but a pop-up warning will appear.

None: Registration can be submitted without a document and no warning will display.
Note: This setting only applies if setting Show Document Upload on Registration is set to Yes.
Income Requirements on Registration
Users can now require clients to provide income information when registering through the Kiosk or Client Portal.

How to access: Setup > Registration Settings > Kiosk and Storefront Registration > Require Income on Registration
Options:
-
Enforce – Registration cannot be submitted without entering income.

Warn – Registration can be submitted without income, but a pop-up warning will appear.

None – Registration can be submitted without income and no warning will display.
Note: This setting only applies if Hide Income and Expense on Storefront Registration is set to No.
Clone Registration Settings
Users now have more control over how client registrations are cloned.
How to access: Setup > Registration Settings > General > Clone Registration.

None: No cloning. A new registration form will always start blank.

Questions Only: Only the registration question-and-answer fields will clone from the client’s most recent registration. Income and expense fields will remain blank.

All: Both the registration question-and-answer fields and the income/expense data will clone from the client’s most recent registration.
"Choice Value" Inventory Visibility
When the Choice Value setting is enabled for Inventory, Users can now view Choice Values in the Shop View. Previously, these were only visible to Pantry Clients using the Client Portal to shop, but now Users in both the Administrative Dashboard (Users with Org prefix) and in the Kiosk Interface (Users with Core Role of Kiosk) can see the client portal view of Choice Values .- To read more about Choice Values, please see the following article: Inventory with Choice-Based System
